The following requires the power switch in the back to be on (FAT model) or cord plugged in (Slim)
1. Hold front power button for 6 seconds while PS3 on (in XMB menu, force PS3 to shutdown (maybe can cause hdd data damage)
2. Hold Eject button down for 6 seconds (in XMB Menu, and a disc inserted): force disc to eject.
(do this if you get trouble ejecting BD/DVD/CD, but maybe possible to make BD disc scracth/damage BD Drive)
3. Hold Eject button down for 12 seconds (in XMB Menu and NO DISC INSERTED): reset Blu-ray. (you will hear something in BD Drive spinning or moving for at least 15 seconds, and blue light indicator wil flashing)
(I don't know exactly what reset really mean, but sometimes it helped me out while my ps3 having trouble load game disc, maybe it useful maintenance, I always do this after 3-5 times load any disc)
4. Hold front Power button down for two beeps (while PS3 is standby): Reset video to lowest settings.
5. Hold front Power button down for three beeps (while PS3 is standby): Enter PS3 diagnostic mode (repeat procedure twice)
the first time will bring PS3 to shutdown, the second time, hold down untill you hear 2 beep in near interval then release, the diagnostic menu will appear (restart, restore file system, rebuild database, reset ps3 system and update firmware via usb)
note :
- you need to connect PS3 with composite (RCA/SCART) since it also reset video output to lowest setting, 480i (NTSC) or 576i (PAL), if your TV only have hdmi input, better don't do this (you'll only see blank screen), unless you also have SDTV to connect RCA cable, my LG LCD TV (M2241A) have both, so I just need to change the input in TV menu.
- if you choose to restore filesystem or reset PS3, make sure you backup the harddrive to PC (better than using XMB backup utility) since it will ERASE ENTIRE HDD DATA
6. Hold Dualshock 3 PS button down on controller for 10 seconds: Turns off Sixaxis or Dualshock 3.
7. tested in PS3 Fat Model (dunno if this trick work on slim model) . switch off back power button, hold eject button, then switch on back power button (while still holding eject button), PS3 will do Fan test, the back fan will spin at highest rpm to try cleaning dust inside PS3.
note : after the fan test, you can't boot up to PS3 XMB, the red light indicator will flashing, don't worry, it's not RSOD, just switch off back power button, then switch on again, press front power button, your PS3 will boot up to XMB

I had trouble adding tinyslideshow when redesign this blog a while ago, it conflicts with other jQuery lib, like accordion, superfish, etc, there was error like this:

Posting Bahasa Inggris
Posting-posting terakhir ane banyak yang dalam bahasa inggris, bukan tanpa sebab, faktor utama karena banyak email masuk dari reader blog ane yang dari luar negeri (kebanyakan nanya tentang posting ane tentang PCSX2) ada yang dari US, France, Denmark, dan dari email itu ada yang nyaranin ane posting make bahasa inggris jadinya sebisa mungkin ane coba gunain bahasa inggris untuk posting blog baru, lumayan untuk memperdalam bahasa inggris.
Kendala gunain bahasa inggris adalah saat posting sudah dipublish ane baru nyadar ada beberapa grammer yang salah, dan saat diperbaiki ada yang lupa dibenerin lagi atau jadi salah ketik, juga tergantung mood, kalo lg gak mood balik lg make bahasa indonesia.
Google translate masih belum bisa diandalkan untuk indo ke inggris, ya udah biar kata mungkin grammer masih banyak salah, tetap show must go on, dan terbukti artikel dalam bahasa inggris yang ane dah posting dibaca kebanyakan dari luar negeri berdasarkan stats blogger dan ada beberapa yang dilink oleh suatu forum luar negeri. Selain itu jumlah views per day sejak memposting gunain bahasa inggris meningkat sekitar 50% dari sebelumnya.
